The Interstate

The Interstate

A Poem by rutherford
"

short poem

"

The Interstate is the back of trailer parks

Seen from the flyover

The flower of steely weeds pushing through

    Jersey barriers

Cat and mouse

    of temporary caravans

with cars from Virginia and Ohio

The five second judgment of the toll booth operator
