The Wild Rambling Cottage Forte

The Wild Rambling Cottage Forte

A Poem by Bewitching Sensations
"

Catch a glimpse of my mind !!!

"

Come sit here awhile

Take a stroll into my dream

Sit under the pergola

Hanging heavy with wisteria

Can you see the roses

Wild and carefree

Heavy with perfume

Teasing the window pane

Come lets run up the cobbled path

To the back stable type door

So so cosy looking

Overhung by vines and more

Mmmmmm smell that, delicious

My homemade bread cooking

Slip in awhile, sit at my pine table

We can chat over  a pot of tea

The bread is now ready, hot,

I will spread butter and then honey

What about some freshly baked?

Oat and raisin cookies, yummy

My Aga is recessed in the hearth

The kitchen is unique, Nic naks

With little window panes

Framed with gingham curtains

Look look at my living room

Heavy Beams, open fire

Big chunky fur rug, get some coal

The flames are running low

Quick we must leave.

The latch on the front door

Has just gone, run, run !

One day, that will be me

This is very sweet and wishful. There's a mixture of innocence and realisation, I mean, you know what you want but how do you get there? Or have you been there? This dream should, could be real.

Nice dream you shared here. I was smiling the whole time I read it and the music was fitting. One day... Loved it. A lot of what you write is just so soothing. Like being held by a tender lover. Playful and light. Thanks again for the read.
Be well.

thankyou so much xx
Amazing, as always hun.
I am walking up that path and following where you've laid your written path.
What I would not give to have the ability to write like you!
I feel the same things, but it all comes out wrong.
That and the fact I am afraid of those who mean something to me, (or more than likely, that have been written about) reading my words and being offended.
