Souls layers vanishing, Blood Bitter tears!

Blood stained tears.. vanishing layers !!!!

My heart is light and flagrant

My soul’s layers are vanishing

Layers that held my dogmas

Soon I can whoop ‘ I’m free’

 

Am I unblocking my heart?

Will I find the wrecked child

Cowering in the dirty recess

Her breath almost extinct

 

Her face now pallor

Tattered rags and bruises

Left to die, left alone

Defiled, riven, just a ghost

 

Like a rag doll she slumps

Sodden in blood stained tears

I am coming, dearest one

We will reunite and be one

 

Can you see the key?

Just there in my grasp

Let me stretch a bit more

Will this feeling last?

 

I feel the breeze of hope

Maybe I will rip free

My life will turn a corner

Look the sun is radiant!

One of your older poems am guessing you have come back to (as your featuring today) because your turning that corner and the wrecked child is feeling better?

I know this feeling when you are strangely detached.. your body and soul act as two different things. These are times which are so dark that the only thing that can take place is an occurrence of light- that's when you involuntarily turn a page of your life. You have brought out this complex, twisted reality very effectively through your write. This is a piece that has layers in it and compels the reader to take another look at the poem. Indeed a powerful write!
