The twisted masksA Poem by Bewitching SensationsHiding behind masks and walls.. Protecting oneselfWhat is my expression? Do I honestly apperceive Maybe I've morphed toward Mortals theories and needs Sporadically yours truly appears Only to those genuine and devoted I'm altruistic, astute and graceful My soul is then divested But never my heart in entity A niche always in reserve Could I ever absolve? Your hitting a nerve A apparel of disguises For work, then to amuse I'm a mother, daughter, wooer Masks I cannot loose.. Each to masquerade exposure Adding lots of blockades Just in case the masks cracks I'm so stuck in my ways Can only push down so much Some days cracks appear The river wanting to break free No matter which mask I wear My spirit wants to soar Like a caged exotic bird My soul Is battered, listless Looking out the bars! Mullered Dreaming, longing, yearning One day, I know! My soul will have no limits How long can I restrict the flo?
