Knock knock

Knock knock

A Poem by Rusty

Knock knock
Go away
I'd really like to sleep today
Knock knock
What's your game
Find someone else to entertain
Knock knock
Don't make a peep
I'd really like to get some sleep
Knock knock
What is this
I'd rather find slumbers bliss
Knock knock
Don't bother me
Go away and let me be
Knock knock
In heavens name
Please now stop just stop this game
Oh I see it's in my chest
My heart that knocks
Won't give me rest
Its game is love
that pesters me
The pain of love won't let me sleep
This pain I guess I must endure
Knock knock says love
Says I Who's there

. you have a heart full of exquisite poetry ... this was a delightful read but profound too ... i know this pain really well ... and it loves to knock on my door too ... but i'm beginning to beat it ... i box it ... metaphorically ... of course ...

very cleaver and witty, you took something so simple and brought a new complexity to phantom, admire the thought process and spirit with this one, good stuff

Ok. Very interesting. Like the way you played with your words. I was expecting to be about love. I was almost mad along with you because you could not sleep. I was thinking (GO AWAY ) nice job
