There's this boy

There's this boy

A Poem by Rusty
"

Inspired by another poet who I just found here

"
There's this boy
Across the river
Or maybe he's across the moon
If you met him yesterday
That wouldn't be too soon

There's this boy
he has deep feelings
He shouts them out alot
But no one seems to hear his words
They often are forgot

There's this boy
Staring out the window
Sodden like the rain
It seems to him he's missing something
Whiles he looks right through the Pane

There's this boy
Who liked your poem
Liked it quite alot
I know just what it feels like
Reading what you wrote

great dictation of the inner child reborn through inspiration..

I like this, in particular the first stanza. A sadness flowing throughout. Shame the final stanza loses the flow a little. I'm a stickler for rhyme......

Sounds like a kid of 12 going onto 52. It gets easier as you get on with age. Nice write!

Oh, I like this... very touching, sweet, and a small hint of sadness. Love the repetition of the first line throughout.

Nicely done. The first line repeating through this gives it a really good flow to the whole piece. Really well written piece.
