Goodbye my sweet

Goodbye my sweet

A Poem by Rusty

Tainted in disarray I leak
The very blood you bleed
While yet your heart did beat
I looked to feed

Feed from the scraps you lent me
Hungrily I wanted more
You asked and I delivered
Only to be shown the door

Through it you peaked while it was yet open
Slammed closed for fear of the light
I wander in all that's brilliant
Once courageous I fear from its bite

Cursed I would seem convicted
Render your judgement my fate
When love was replaced with a vengeance
Turning me to something you hate

Eviscerate my visage
Lay my naked body to waste
From the scene of the crime retreating
Covering your tracks with haste

Goodbye my sweet love and your beauty
Accuse me of love no more
Stand at the shallow depression
Where you buried the love you abhour
