Silence

Silence

A Poem by Rusty

Melencholly repeat in your silence
I return again and again to a page that's bare
The sudden loss of your fancy
Could I convince myself I don't care

Instead I stare at the fingers
I stare blankly at hands
I stare at a silent visage
It's all I command

I damn myself for my interest
I damn my self alone
These goddman computers and websites
Instead of letters and phone

Your voice found its mark
Yet is something I have yet to hear
Your words plied from my breast
And splattered about on here

Never again shall I wander
For something so strongly desired
Until the next note my music silenced
Like the stroke of the pen in your hand

I longed too from word from a cerain person, but I found later there was good reason for the silence, and my spirits were lifted again...

This is powerful indeed. I really like the part about computers verses letters.
