Montague

Montague

A Poem by SoulOblivion
"

This horror poem takes you inside the mind of a psychopathic killer bent on murdering a man who insulted his honor.

"
Shut up and bleed,
Let me watch your blood stream down
Like a red river of forgotten dreams
Streaming from the frailness of your body

Watch it drip from your veins
Like the hope in your eyes
As you see your impending fate
To perish because of my sins
Let me have the riveting pleasure of ending your life
Montague

What a fool you are
To insult a man like I
Let me see your anguish and lost love
As you look into my face
See your personification of doom
As you drown in your crimson nectar
Montague

I will show you the sting of Giltin-,
Bury you in her coffin,
Six feet under the horrid surface of our existence,
And I swear by the Revenge of Vali,
You shall never insult me,
My honor,
My family,
And my life,
Ever again.

Good Bye Montague. See you in the Ninth Circle, Me and the best of friends.

Poe! One of my favorites, right behind Sir Walter Scott. Anyways, I really enjoyed this. Like you, I like to read and write dark poetry, so I thought this was lovely. This was a very powerful piece, and I especially liked "Watch it drip from your veins/ Like the hope in your eyes", that was absolutely beautiful.
