La Frontera del Cielo

The sky is an ocean that’s yet to be sailed,

An infinite void lit by shimmering stars.

We are the mariners blazing the trails,

Tearing huge gaping holes in the night with our dazzling light,

Leaving jagged and festering scars.

Deep in the darkened and frozen abyss,

Through the mists of eternity from aeons long past,

There comes flying a beast that is dying to feast,

On the flesh of all things from the first to the last.

With a swirling storm of fiery rage comes forth the lord of dragons,

Shrouded in a cloud of darkness, death lies in her wake.

Awoken from an age of slumber, she slowly lumbers forward.

Born of war she sows the seeds of hate.

Her foes lie dead all burnt and blackened, butchered by her claws,

Then ripped to shreds and feasted on by snapping, hungry jaws.

She comes! She comes!

With the gnashing of teeth and the flapping of wings,

Destruction and terror are all that she brings,

She won’t stop, she won’t rest ‘til there’s nobody left,

She lusts just for the death of all living things.
