Another Cup of Joe with Mel

We Crucify our Heroes.
We Crucify Ourselves.
Don’t forget the Ones We Love…
And
How We Killed the Elves.

Spit it Out on a Silver Platter,
So All Eyes Can See.
Come on,
Give Me What You Got.
You can Share with Me.

Display It in the Hall,
Regurgitate upon the Silver Tray…
Go Ahead…,
Spew it on the Wall!

I’ve already worn It Pinned to My Shirt Sleeve.
I’ve turned myself Inside Out.

We’re wearing Crosses Pinned to Our Backs.
The Burden is Heavy.

We’ve walked so many miles in the Darkness…
But,
There Is a Light Somewhere.
Where is the Switch?

Maybe I’ve walked one more step,
At this given Moment.

So,
You’re asking me…
What?
Well…
Let’s Examine those Entrails…
Again,
Backlit and Reflected
By the Silvery Sheen
We’ve provided as the
Foundation for Perception
That we’re calling Now.

Scanning Ancient Memory…
Collective.
Choosing methods.
Searching…
Somehow,
Through Perserverance..
For
Truth!
