Towards someone

And I can't help but think

That they've taken a picture

To go home and sleep

Half of the brain seeing them as they were

The other half imagining

What they'd do with them

The last too lines made me smile, as I did not see it coming :)

I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I wanted to try doing some shorter pieces as I feel that some of my work tends to get so long that I lose the reader. I'll probably attempting some rhyming stuff in the next few days. I've always struggled to make rhyming work in my favor.

Very good way to define the wink. The wink can lead to agreement or someone seeking escape. I enjoyed the short poem. Luck and good timing make the wink become a new poem or story to tell. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
