A significant someone

A significant someone

A Story by rushika

The movement of his eyes is perfectly orchestrated to avoid mine. But sometimes his gaze pierces through the crowd and greets mine. The look in his eyes makes the noises around me go silent. He drags his body lazily on the cold mornings of winter while his hands run through his hair in a quest to tame his bed hair.Sometimes his mouth speaks the most absurd things, but sometimes his words calm my soul like a summer breeze. His enthusiasm rises and falls like a paper plane that soars through the sky before touching the ground. One moment he lets it all out the next he is oblivious to his surroundings. His bursts of laughter and anger are sudden and short. This rope of our friendship is strong, the words I confess may untie it.Maybe my feelings are momentary, maybe they are vague. So these feelings of mine, I shall keep it to myself. But your short presence in these fleeting years of my life is a memory I will hold dear.
