Who am i?

Who am i?

A Poem by rusali adhikari

I smile alone they call me mad
i laugh loud they call me s**t
I talk to boys i m a w***e
I act literate u slam the door

I love him , then i m liar
I dont luv him , then i m a cheater
I cry over him , then i m possessed
I get jealous , then i am obsessed

Dea society jus tell me wot am i supposed to do
Where am i supposed to run
Dont wanna tolerate this anymore
cant let all my dreams to burn

Sud i feel guilty ! Or jus act fyn
Sud i jus laugh ! Or jus cry to hell
Sud i jus regret being a girl
Or u will jus giv me back wats mine

Will u let me to shine
Will u let me to burn
Will u let me to light the world
Or am i supposed to take out my sword !!

A wonderful true poem published on Republic Day. We have our own constitution which provides so many rights and duties. Still, women are denied their rights. We are prohibited from being ourselves. You truly brought it before the audience. Loved it, really for I am a girl who has the similar fate as well as feelings.

Wishes,
Sandra.
