Prologue

It wasn't the first time she moved. Her father had to switch from state to state, country to country, world to world. It was normal. Completely normal. 

Only... this time it wasn't normal. 

She had moved to so many different places, and she had been just fine- but this was her first time moving... completely alone.

She couldn't follow him, for he had left... and he wasn't coming back.
