![]() Till We Meet AgainA Poem by Another Word-Lover![]() She dies.. He can do nothing about it.. but will death be more powerful or will this special love keep them together forever..![]()
Her eyes are shut till the end of time
His body feels numb, only a mime
Why was his jewel stolen from him?
They thought his life needed trimming, but they cut away the roots and stem
He holds the soft small yellowish hand
His eyes a salty sea, his cheeks a soaked land
The spying sun, its time to sleep, slides down the window and away
Creeping is the night of darkness.. It’s here to stay
The silence engulfing the melancholy surrounding..
Yet the deafening cries of a father’s heart are crowding
He sways and falls to his knees
Would someone give him one more moment with her please?
Strong hands lift that broken heart wrapped in a pile of creaking bones
Tuning the hearts somber moans, into slightly more peaceful tones
A gentle river of consolement runs through his veins
Cleaning away all the pain caused stains
A strong white light appears with warmth, shining
The small angle towards him gracefully gliding
“Daddy,” she said “I arrived safely up there to heaven..
I met this boy.. He was also eleven..
I told him my dad I want to see
To thank him for all he did to me
He looked at me with a smile so understanding..
But this is for a miracle that you are asking
And a majestic voice whispered from the Golden chair
Go my child.. your father needs you there..
So here I am daddy.. I came to see you..
To tell you that I’ll be there with you in everything you do..
But my home now is up there in the sky
Please daddy don’t you cry
Because with your tearful eye
You wont be able to see my wings.. Daddy I can fly..
Keep in mind that this is not goodbye
I’ll be watching over you.. This is no lie..
Until the day you join me in that place so high
Until the day that death breaks to this small Earth your tie..
