a young man's energies have been corrupted by a virgin's heart, he acts stupid because he is afraid to tell the virgin about his love for her. that is why he acts silly around the virgin.

A curse of love in my veins

Affection has rooted in mine heart,

Like a mushroom it has grown;

From the day I met your tenderness

Now lies no pride in loneliness

 

Only a glance at your very self

Unpacks love hidden in my heart’s shelf.

Lust pulls me from being holy

And fear holds me back from glory

 

In-most beyond sight begins a fight:

My spirit desires, my body retires

And this fierce battle turns foul

Hurting the recoiling and boiling soul

 

Like a flood roars my passion

But in my folly hides my emotion,

That is why I act silly around you

Because I am sickened by want and regret
