when words can't tell about loveA Poem by rugareabout a boy too scared to propose to the person he loves so dearlyWHEN WORDS CAN’T TELL ABOUT LOVE
Love that I give to you is a gift That will by no means shift, Because I give without regard for a price: A love contritely sodden with sacrifice
In length: love that lives a life long’s time; In word: love that is worthy a poet’s rhyme. And be your servant to the point of slavery.
Love! Have us as a flock within the fold Because in the cold lies those whose love is sold. Hearts must discern the call of committed affection.
When love is given in earnest truth Trust is born and stronger is the horn From which this tenderness is blown.
Eyes can’t tell about love serve to stare And if one, the express of words dare Not to convey, can the minds meet?
But our love shall exist as a myth And live in the commune of our souls, The devotion of our pure hearts And the converse of our innocent eyes © 2013 rugareReviews
