Father

Father

A Poem by Olga Rudyka

Who is your father?

The father who started your life in the womb,

Or the father who planned you

Since the beginning of creation.

The father who gives you a home to live in,

Or the father who holds the

World in his hand.

The father who taught you respect,

Or the father who is teaching you

To love the whole world.

All have a father,

But not all really have him.

There is only one father that

Everyone can rely on.

He is the father who created the universe.

Hope this poem will remind all of the love that our Heavenly Father has for his children.

As someone who grew up Roman Catholic but has left the church many years ago, I hesitated to continue when I realized the topic, but you did it so well that I was drawn in. Your sentiment is genuine and it was a pleasure to read this.
