DuelA Poem by rudelizardDredging up dusty archives of a soul gone mad, You reappeared in the
rebellion of a dying flame. Untamed; your amber pelt swaying in the flutter of smoke- Appeasing, my feverous thirst for you. Remorsefully, only you- Linger in the sweet
fragrance, of the soot I exhale. Suffocating; Shall, I forgo of this
noose? Disinfect the corridors where
you’re stained? I can no longer tell- For whom the last bullet
will ring. Indisposed, I retreat ten paces, tossing emptiness midair
at the moon; Bursts of our shattered
remains, blowing, like- dust full of stars.
I bid us adieu, deplete the anecdotes where you live- Rest no more,
under the peels of my
despair. February 03, 2015 - Rude Lizard © 2015 rudelizardReviews
