Night Melody

Night Melody

A Poem by Ruby Moon

The night sings with your love,

The stars shine bright,

However it still dulls compared to your love,

Nor feel as right…

The silver star at the sky,

Showers the moon with its light,

The moon next to it in the sky,

Bathed in the silver light, shine bright.

The two heavenly bodies,

Sway as one,

Dancing to melodies,

They hear as one…

Melodies of their love for one another,

Weaved into one for all to hear,

Lovers gather round to find one another,

And in their hearts, the melody they hear…

I have heard this siren's song before,
but ne'er sung so sweet.
