Little Worn Stone

Little Worn Stone

A Poem by Ruby Moon

A little gray from time...

A little worn from the road

A little powdery from the grinding

A little forgotten thing

A little stone on the ground

But the purest of white in the middle

Like how we became stained from life

Grinded and weighted down with problems

Losing a little of ourselves each time

Like no one cares for us

A forgotten person

But all those is to let our core shine through
