My Status

Was updating my Facebook status and this is what came out. Don't ask me. It just felt like a poem.

To think -

You cannot feel what I'm feeling!

It makes me desperate to make you understand.

But I will have to be satisfied with your smile,

a beautiful reflection

of Now.

Author's Note

So pretty much this happened by accident. I was updating my Facebook status when I felt frustrated - that "Nobody appreciates my art!" feeling that us poets get sometimes. xD And this came out. And I decided it would be a poem. I have no idea what it means. It may mean something to someone.

A great ventation of emotions where there may be some miscommunication??? The internet's one pitfall is the expression or meaning of words are lost on paper or screen for the most part.. some emotions I do believe can be felt through writing but a person has to have enough to piece it together.. then it's not always truly felt but related by the meaning they sometimes take from within themselves.. You have a great statement that many do feel.. the most common term a friend will say to help a friend is "I know what you mean or feel".. now again.. this is an interpretation of what I take from this short but sweet ventation! Great!

I think this. Sometimes inspiration strikes at odd times. I think it's something we can all relate to, and the ending is powerful.
