The Fading Forest

The Fading Forest

A Poem by rubydreamer

She walks through woodlands with her arms crossed
Happening upon secrets from times long lost;
Silence - listening to sunlight glistening -
O the sadness in the trees as she walks by,
Smiling at their silhouettes in a fading sky.

This is truly beautiful! The title was very fitting, and the uniqueness of it made me want to read this piece. I'm glad that I did. It's a wonderful poem, very inspiring piece.
