HitA Story by AshleyRandom thing we had to write in class.
When it hit me, it knocked the breath out of me. I was stunned beyond all reason that she had even hit it that far. I heard the crrraaaaack of the bat against the rock. I spun around just in time to see it right before it plowed into my chest. It threw me backwards and I landed with a thud. I gasped for air but none came to me. Then there were hands pulling on my sleeves to sit me up, one of the hands held me in place while the other pounded my back. I coughed a few times then a full breath of air finally broke through the invisible wall in my throat and rushed in to bill my lungs. I turned to thank whoever had saved me and saw her. Yes that her, the girl that had hit me with the rock. But she wasn't one of those tomboy girls. No way! She was beautiful. Dark brown hair, golden skin, eyes that seemed to change from blueish purple around the outside to gold right by the pupil.
