We are doing this in my class at evergreen state college and i thought i would share them with you as well....translations of the ancient chinese sacred doadejing text.

To know the way is saying nothing at all, and everything at once;

While the way is forever the same and forever changing.

The way is now and then;

While the way is here as it is there.

With lack of want, light is shone on mysteries;

With presence of want, mysteries remain clouded.

One may be called by another name, yet still they are the same.

Whether clouded or in light, mysteries are forever.

There past the light, past the want and clouds;

The way will be seen.

While the way is forever more, and less, then all.
