You were there when I was
born And you let me live my
own life
You were there when I
stumbled And you let me pick
myself up
You were there when I
laughed And you laughed with me
You were there when I
cried And you held me until the
tears stopped
Such were our
conversations While you walked the
earth
And now you are gone But yet I know you are still here
My mind still talks to
you My heart still looks for
you And my soul knows you are at
