You heal the negativity

I face in my daily journeys

offer a safe haven

from fear and anxiety ridden nocturnal phantoms

haunting the night

and invading precious sleep

 

you teach me to find comfort

and the light of wonder

as you awaken internal rhythms

gone still for a moment in time

and filled with misty shadows of self doubt,

fear and confusion

 

you lead me on mystical travels

to worlds of color and texture

beyond the veils of magic

and fire synapses that urge the body

to get up and dance the choreography

which you inspired

 

you are music and the lost chord

choosing to vibrate so high that I may

experience myself in your being…

Oh, my, this could be so many things...on the first reading I thought, art with those vibrant colours and endless subjects and angles with which to become inspired by...on a second reading i thought, a lover who is there to hold you when you wake from haunting dreams; to reassure you that life is good...then, on the third reading i thought, maybe it is music whose melody lifts the spirit and allows you to travel beyond the physical realm...finally I thought, perhaps it's life in general that offers all of these things to you...I love where this takes me and must read it again and again to make sure I have followed each path... well done, Rubie...love this!
