Fancy
I think
it was your smile That lit
my heart And made
my insides vibrate
With
anticipation and delight Or it
could have been The way
you like to be kissed In quiet
moments of surprise Caught
off guard Standing at
the stove And let
me run my hands All over
you, free to touch Your
face, neck and arms At my
whim and fancy And wrap
around you Until the
curve of our bodies Melds into
one another Blurring
the edges of You and
me into we Maybe it
was how beautiful You are
fresh from sleep Stretching
cat-like in bed Curling
into me For
comfort and warmth Greeting
the new day with Hope and
loving tenderness It might
have been any one Of your
myriad wonders But yes…I
think it was your smile © 2015 rubieReviews
