Contentment at the ThresholdA Poem by rubieContentment
at the Threshold
Have you
ever wondered what it
would be like to have
the universe serve up life
in the
image that you’ve dreamed it?
Wouldn’t
it be a kick to find magic in the
middle of a well-fought life?
To answer
the doorbell when it rings only to
find contentment at the threshold?
What
would be wonderful, it seems, would be
to know I’ve earned it and to meet
you with a clean slate filled with
experiences but void of baggage
We could
meet as equals, willing to try to put up
our hearts as collateral for the journey, look into
each other’s eyes for the truth and find
out what it feels like to be fulfilled © 2015 rubieReviews
