I wish you’d get a little intense about something

How ironic - the things that drew you to this person are now the very things that instigate your resentment - we are fickle people. I love the contradiction you present - this is life.

A clever little piece that really sets it down. You like someone - fun to be together and you fall for them.
It shows the shallowness of some people with "I wish you'd get a little intense about something, Anything"
The other person continues being the gay, happy, childish, silly person as before, even though you have grown past that.

and I LOVE the final lines. I didn't love you then But I don't like you now.

It just proves again we can like people we don't love -and love people we don't like.

Sad but so true.
