A Midsummer's Night Dream

A Midsummer's Night Dream

A Poem by Adderwolf

The fireflies light the night sky as the moon wanes high above

A gentle breeze whispers as the leaves rustle in the trees

My memory fades like a dream as I watch the shadows dance in the moonlight

Far away I can hear the song of the Night Bird calling

Come Away, Come Away, Come Away with me she sings

I dream of dancing, my hand in hers

Her smile that is brighter than a thousand diamonds

And her eyes that twinkle like the stars in heavens

I close my eyes and touch the silkiness of her skin against mine

The nights are long and the days as eternity

As I dance with my night bird

In a Midsummer's Night Dream
