Silence

Falling apart from the inside out
She loses sleep
But why doesn't she even dare 

To speak

She hides the truth within
Deep within her thoughts
For only her to know all
But, it creates her fall

The images like a flashback
She falls to the floor 
From the pain 
She has endured 

When she wakes
Her pillows had been stained
With her secret sobs 
From the endless night before

She tries to show no pain
But there is a cloud full of rain
Standing over her
To wait for her breakdown

The feeling of emptiness
Overcomes her mind and soul 
Will she ever feel whole?
She has become a broken soul

It's very sad and full of emotion.

I just love this... it is so deep, so full of emotion. I yearn to just hold her as a grandfather would and tell her that she will be be ok. To not be afraid, to not hide who she is. That she can only feel true love if she reveals who she really is. Then when people like, or love her she will know they really do love her.

how nice that you brought up such loving a caring feelings from me... married for 34 years, 54 year old guy... That my dear, is good writing.
