The Letter of a broken Heart

Waiting for a reply, but you get the reply that you have been dreading.

In the letter you wrote me

you hurt me, even broke me, can't you see.

I read it many times to understand

how this big argument got out of hand. 

I see you in my dreams, 

I guess I can't believe it is over as it would seem.

So I run and run hoping today you would come to me and we would recover 

from this mess

As if it was some sort of test. 

But I am on my porch waiting and waiting

But all I got was the letter

the letter that you wrote to me.

And my whole world shattered and fell apart

From this letter that gave me a broken heart.
