O what is life

something of joy or of strife

is ity fun? is it fair?

is it about the clothes or is it hair

it causes pains

it drives us insane

it gives us laughter

but tears soon come after

it gives us gains

and also losses

it makes us strain

and gives us bosses

we love it, we hate it

we agree with it and debate it

is it like being at the point of a knife

or do we call it life

Overall word to describe the poem: Philisophical. I thought that the rhyming was interfering with the overall movement of the poem, remember that not everything has to rhyme. From what I know about you (All I know is the "About" from the side box of the Author thing, I haven't seen your profile) you said the words "btw" and "lol" so I assume you're in high school or maybe middle school, so I would have to say that you still have a lot of improvement to make before you're THERE...so I say, if they MUST rhyme, then I guess they have to. I would like to point out, though, that although your rhyming and word choice is good, your fluency is suffering 'cause of it, and I would hate the whole "it has to rhyme" thing to keep your poems back. But I did like this poem, I must say. More talent than potential, which is a great thing in my book, so you'll probably hear more from me.

The more we think about life. The more we can see little purpose to do a lot. I try not think too hard about life. I tell people enjoy your life. Do great things. Today that matters. Tomorrow may not come. "A fool's put all his money away for a rainy day. When he is old and rich. He is too tire to enjoy his dreams. " A excellent poem. You made me think.
