A Bug's Funeral

A Bug's Funeral

A Poem by Shygirl

No one loses sleep over a dead bug,
not one person.
Sure, people go crazy over spilled milk
and secrets and lies and emotions and
politics and the economy and everything in between,
but not once has anyone cried over a murdered insect.
People rejoice over a bug buying the farm or an
arachnid meeting its maker or an insect
pushing up daisies and so on. If no one
cares about the death of a fly,
Then why do people care about such
insignificant things like political
correctness and "fitting in".
After all, no one mourns over a lifeless bug.

Well yeah since they're all about nature and animals, but the point still remains.
