Shakespeare's Land of OzA Poem by ShygirlTwo star crossed lovers ran with the summer sun, arm and arm, hand and hand down the yellow-brick road. They killed the Wicked Witch from the East and all was good, But the forgot about the West and the Witch crowed. Their Oz was destroyed, and the Emerald City turned to rubble, their faith was lost and the flying monkeys roamed the land. The scarecrow was left ignorant, the tin man heartless, the cowardly lion gutless, Dorothy couldn't tap her shoes out of this, she couldn't withstand the Witch's fury. Dorothy and Romeo just weren't meant to be He went and found his Juliet, while she reminisced. She thought of the days they ran with the summer sun, and ruled the land of Oz together, but now they don't exist.
