Inspiration

Inspiration- what a rare and wondrous creature,

a marvelous, mysterious beast only shown to the worthy.

Alas, what a feeling it must have been to be touched by such a beast.

Inspiration, who only reveals itself to the geniuses, the world-changers, the thinkers, inventors, 

Inspiration, the muse to the artist, the light to world, yet the most humble,

For all the world's achievements, Inspiration is the source.

What I would give for a glimpse of it, to be enlightened by its ultimate knowledge,

but wait- there it is! 

With its all-seeing eyes and endless creativity, I see it!

It is more beautiful than imagined! I know now! I know what i must do!

Words and colors and imagery, it's all there.

All you need to do is search.

Search for the beast inside yourself with the all-seeing eyes and endless creativity.

Look hard for it, because if you give up, you will never see its light.

Look hard, my friend, for Inspiration is often found in the last place you look.

I may have seen this beast before but it may not be exactly this one . I once saw its cousin Necessity and its mother named Invention .
What a brilliant introspection ! I wonder if President Roosevelt searched for this creature ? Ah just a thought or just my Imagination ... Well done Ms Shygirl !
