New DawnA Poem by Roy WangI wish nothing but the best for you too.It just occurred to me that summer was here. A time of endless smiling and big brassieres. I feel satisfied and complete. I can wear flip flops on my feet. And although theres always room for improvement, I know there is no consequence for movement. Even though summer school is a drag, And my sociology professor is an old hag, I get to see faces of old and new. I can look up at the infinite blue. And I get to get lost in my thoughts about you. Theres no harm in summer, No hurt or rain. Just sitting around the house, Not worrying about pain. It feels really great. And hopefully, I'll find a date. Leave behind the conflict; the hate. And just keep smiling. Oh the days of joy just keep piling.
