The Natural Order of ThingsA Poem by Roy WangThese are my questions. Before I forget, Whatever happened to the definition of a good samaritan? The word itself is derived from the bible. But still, Do 'good samaritans' get rewarded? If God loved this world so much, Then how come bad things happen to good people? I would like to call myself a good samaritan. I'm obedient, humble, and stay out of trouble at all costs. Yet I haven't been rewarded. Some say that you only get rewarded if you announce Jesus as your savior, Or accept God as the Holy Lord. And they also say that you don't recieve earthly rewards, Rather, you build up your gifts in heaven. But what happens if I don't believe in heaven? Does that make me a bad person? When compared to the average money-hungry, lust loving, drug induced Christian adolescent, I seem to stand out. But I see no rewards with my name on it. Just because I pledge my name unto nobody doesn't make me anything less of a good person. So if I continue to live a good honest life without the eye of 'my father', Does that mean that I would never be granted anything?
