ExesA Poem by Roy WangFor when that one person ruins your day.Stand up for yourself. Never let emotions conceal The inner core That you should reveal. The inner part that holds your divinity, The surface tension expressed as false serenity. Break it. Break the charade on display That’s apparent to my eye day to day. If a person has robbed your heart, Avenge yourself in a form of spectacular art. Rise from your personal depths, No more delving for excuses. Your s****y destiny will be caused by a series of ruses. And who will be to blame? Who will be receiving the finger of shame? You are a victim of your own mind, You are not at the mercy of another person’s crime. Stand up for yourself. There is no court, But this is a case. So arm yourself, With the power of pace; The pace of moving forward. Stuck in a rut? Hate your own gut? Think you made a mistake? Well think of all the times that person faked. Fake laughs, fake smiles. Fake orgasms that didnt last awhile. Think about it, Does that person even care? When they made you push through mountains of despair? F**k no. Not worth it. They made you feel Like you had no purpose. That’s fucked up. That’s bullshit. So f**k them. You ARE worth it.
