My anger amplifies
As does yours
You think you're right
And you have for years

 

 

But what you don't see
Is everyone elses views
So closed and protected
Loosened are your screws

 

 

Your temper is your downfall
The contempt dripping with malice
Isn't there any compassion
Why must you be so callous?

 

 

The ones who should have all your attention
Simply get none at all
And the ones who deserve your love
You disregard and make so small

 

 

But small we arn't
Not tiny, petite, or little
Significant, a better description
Yet we are so brittle

 

 

The maltreatment we recieve
Is no more validated
Than kicking an innocent child
Why are you so aggrevated?

 

 

Because you don't get your way?
Tough!
Because I don't agree with you?
Gee, how rough...

 

 

The 'man' you claim to be
Is pathetic and mean
The person you want to be
Sure likes making a scene

 

 

You make me want to use words
Ones I prefer not to say
They make me want to cringe
Like 'hate', 'leave', and 'go away'

 

 

I wish you were the person
I always thought you could be
But that will never happen
Because you are so mean

Really nicely written & a strong message. I think this is relatable for all readers... we all have that one person who you just don't see eye-to-eye with, no matter what. I loved the honesty in your poem, the harshness, the fierceness. Amazing!
