::Just A Memory::

::Just A Memory::

A Poem by Jeanette

Everyday
A memory made
Everyday
A memory fades

Everything we go through
Good, bad, happy or sad
Rests calmly on our death beds
Just memories we had

Dances and weddings
Births and breakups
Flow seamlessly in unison
Devoid of disrupts

Worries once pondered
And scares upon ones heart
Have been forgotten
Slowly from the start

Life spontaneous
Or carefully planned
Adds up to so little
In this great big land

So why be preoccupied
Of the things thrown at us
What ever it may be
This too shall pass

Everyday
A memory made
Everyday
Memories f a d e

I love this, another spectacular poem! You have a really artistic & honest voice that is going to ring true to all readers. You write about things that others can relate with and have their own experiences with, and that's great in poetry. I love your style!!

Makes me a lil scared and sad. Makes me realize. My memories will die as well as everyone elses.
