male friends

male friends

A Poem by rowdydog

love me wholeheartedly
engulf me, don’t part with me
give me your attention
don’t make me feel sparsely
drown me in adoration
suffocate me with anticipation
of your agonizing eyes that touch my very soul.
make me feel whole.

give me validation
but please don’t ask
to meet me after class
i know this isnt love, this isnt me
i simply dont need the responsibility.
i wish we were more, i know you want less
but in the mean time, just test
the bounds of our friendship
and the stability of my walls
for all i need is dismissal of my faults.
