Rage

Rage

A Poem by rougey

Rage flows from the page of inner desires
Lighting fires in the hearts of  enemies
The funeral pyres of the longing youth haunt dreams
Taunt the innocent and scar the jaded cynicism of the angels
Villains fade from the fury of their heroic deeds
Closing the book on this tranquil chaos
Upsetting the delicate balance between unrelenting devastation and obliteration, leaving nothing but the harsh calm before the storm to accompany the frenzy and never ending change of stagnation
The boundless energy of transformation stalls in a fixed portrait  unaware of the predictability of its randomness
Stifled by the volume of the silence among the seas of noise in this desolate land of humanity
destroy the rage caused by peace
finding sanctuary in the hectic serenity found in conflict
Only then realizing the futility of it all when it becomes clear that the chaos is only the sugar coated version of the peaceful stagnation you fought so hard against
Opening a new page of rage inspired by an indescribable desire we never lose and never satiate
The book will never finish nor has it ever began
