A wellA Poem by MaleficentFrom a day I felt adventurous.
A roadblock short of a fortuitous well
Path untraversable and thick with foliage Lush, lovely foliage and Green on the senses Beckoning a wanderer like A trail to a hiker Blocked by abrupt fences Heeding forward yet Denying access of the well Thus how it feels to be a traveler Bound by wanderlust madness Unfulfilled and yearning for the well; bricked and barred and bound by an adventurers will Traversing the brushes of a forest unimbursed by this earth And left to overgrow a thicket Barren by a hack of impure mirth © 2024 MaleficentAuthor's Note
