Mother

Mother

A Poem by Cadence Killday

Aversion travels through your veins;
Motivates your privy gain.
Despite the void- in my heart,
the pressure builds; tears us apart

And because respect attenuates-
it diminishes my natural traits-
an effort to cease inheritance
of your vanity and lack of sense.
