The Affliction

The Affliction

A Poem by Cadence Killday

A streak of pain, the blackness shone
Misery is pounding in my skull
Nostalgia and the past bemoan
And now depression fills my soul.
Grasping with it's stubborn hands
It twists and breaks my spirit,
throws it across the Devil's land,
The afflliction - I can hear it.
