eclipsed

eclipsed

A Poem by Ross Davison

fester

     this
unattainable
sore of beauty

one
       flash
                 glance
                             speaks
     of
distain.
                  unworthy         of

a second

                delve

rampant whole(some)hearted
solid sweet delectably
                                     old fashioned
       humility
the source of laughter
                     snuggles and
                     toes so
                     flutter together.

but my shell is scarred
                        grotesque, (though handsomely
                      average)

and my pages
would lull you into heaven

your loss(.)

is

mine

        to

ponder

           with a
shrug.

Well, that was an interesting poem. The scattered words gave me kind of a hard time, but it's cool; I got through it alright. ;) Anyways, I really like how deep this poem seems to be. The tone gives an understandable sense of despair for something or someone which one may never obtain. (Correct me if I'm wrong) But I'm guessing that this poem has something to do with a case of low self-esteem, but, on the other hand, it seems like self-pitying person doesn't seem to care. So, that's very interesting. Great job.

Ironically Yours, -Blade and Blood

P.S. I don't know if it's the structure or the tone, but this poem kind of reminds me of Panic! at the Disco. lol ^^
