untitled (what if we are clouds?)

untitled (what if we are clouds?)

A Poem by Ross Davison

what if we are clouds?

touching
mixing to join.

some in strat streamline wispy and thin,

the fluffy bask (sun)day,

the crowds of gangs
roll(in) and lightning strikes,

the cool fog hugging close dew,

and sepe r a t e,

over Izu Hanto,

over Monterey,

Katrina touched d(gr)o(ou)wn(nd) in New Orleans
mad as hell blast reminds,
she’s throwing his stuff                          out the window,

and

over the Whaling City,

i can see you,

dancing,

over Boston.

Your poems are like abstract art. I just love it! I wish there were more of you, but I don't. There is only one.

My husband likes to talk about clouds as being the one of the great scientific mysteries out there, and as an excellent and obvious example of chaos theory. Given that we humans could be described in those terms exactly, well dear, you may be on to something.

I like the poem very much - your writing has had a very delicate touch lately.

Very interesting piece in the way you did ground and down and showed us serenity and violence within clouds - we are like that to a certain degree. Nice comparison - never thought about it like that - Leah

i too enjoy clouds. i believe they know something i do not. the mystery of clouds must be explained! to compare people to clouds is a stroke of genius. clouds can indeed be gentle, vengeful and even playful. i enjoyed this.
